Broken

Broken

To you my lord
I held you like gold
But the truth be told
Which I say in bold
This gold is now sold

I chose you because you were brave
And for this my love I gave
But your slave I became
I am not casting any blame
I was the fool in the game

You in my life I welcomed
Being called baby I allowed
Not knowing I was been played
I turned to God and prayed
Only to end up being annoyed
For this love was only forced

Walking away I dare
But honestly I still care
My next move really scare
But I think this is fair
Forgetting the memories we share
I will try in my mind to clear
You’ve lost a heart so rare
Let me take the last glare
Fake smile I have to wear
As I bid you goodbye my dear.
