Dead Feelings

So beautiful and endearing
Were the feelings felt
Like a blend of Irish whisky and chocolate
They were intoxicatingly sweet

Like the deep blue see
And to a point of no return
It sank and went
As this feeling bled and died

A dark cloud loomed over her love
Set for rains to come
But instead the droughts came
And the seedlings of feelings planted
Died never to be awoken by any storm
